A popular YouTuber joined several dark web chat rooms in order to expose what people are really like on there.
The dark web is a term that is often associated with criminal activity, but what is it actually like in that murky area of the internet?
The reality of the dark web is one that is often shrouded in mystery but one man has decided to lift the lid.

Documenting the experience for his subscribers, Tranium uploaded a video to the social media platform.
In the video description, it read: “Today, I took a deep dive into what goes on inside dark weeb/deep web chat rooms.. I'm here to find out what people are like in such a secluded chat.”
Before his deep dive, Tranium warned his viewers not to ‘do this yourself’.
Entering different chat rooms, the YouTuber struggled to get anyone to talk to him at first.

But after a while of searching through the dark web, he uncovered some strange conversations.
One featured someone selling cloned credit cards and another person was looking for someone to harass a woman that had rejected him.
One person wrote that they were looking for a ‘black hat’, which is someone who hacks computers for malicious intent.
A particularly disturbing post that Tranium found read as ‘hitman needed’.
