YouTuber faces unexpected consequences after 'forcing' himself to get addicted to vaping

There were some wild side effects

Everyone has their vices, but whether it be enjoying a glass of wine after a hard day at work, placing an annual bet on the Super Bowl, or needing that morning coffee to get you going, there's a difference between managing them and addiction.

Whether it's alcohol, gambling, smoking, or even social media, addiction can be a deadly thing.

So, we question why someone would want to get themselves purposefully addicted to something - This is where YouTuber Bodie Neme comes in - forcing himself to get addicted to vaping.

While there are various studies claiming that vaping is 'better' for you than smoking, there are worries about the long-term effects of pumping all those flavored chemicals into your body. Vaping hasn't been around long enough for scientists to know what it's doing to us, but basically (just like smoking), vaping is bad.

Neme's channel is full of video where he 'forces' himself to do dangerous stunts like not eat or get addicted to weed.

In a video titled "I Forced Myself To Get Addicted To Vape", the controversial YouTuber says he's never vaped but has noticed how those around him claim to be addicted to these 'little machines.'

In his vaping video, Neme questioned whether he'd be addicted to vaping forever and how easy it would be to break an addiction.

He also noted that while 1 in 20 Americans now vape, e-cigarette consumption in teenagers soared by 1,800% in 2023.

Despite short-term feelings of pleasure, extended vape use can lead to anxiety, a change in energy levels, and even depression. Neme warned: "You're killing your body but your mind feels good doing it, so you fall into a trap."

Following his first puff, Neme spluttered his way through the video and winced: "God my eyes are literally watering. Oh my god, dude it burns, this burns way worse than weed."

Although he admits that it tastes pretty good, he was already referring to it as a 'coping mechanism' by the second day. By day four, he noticed his acne had increased, and by day five, he said he was feeling 'down as f**k.'

Admitting it was harder than he thought it would be, Neme said: "I did not expect this at all. I thought it was literally going to be an easy test. Seven days and then I was just going to get through it. I did not expect it to take this toll on me emotionally, physically, anything. It's actually f**king crazy what this little thing can do to you."

As Neme headed into a vapeless life after a week of 'hitting it,' he said he was waking up during the night with headaches, was easily irritable, and had a massive increase in his appetite. Thankfully, after three days of being vape-free, Neme said he was back to normal but had a warning for us all: "Honest with you guys, f**k vape, don't do this sh*t, it's f**king horrible for you, makes you feel shitty. Just don't f**king do it."
