Fans disgusted by MrBeast's upcoming challenge that's made them 'lose all faith in humanity'

Fans disgusted by MrBeast's upcoming challenge that's made them 'lose all faith in humanity'

They want him to go back to the good ol' days

Having the biggest YouTube channel around doesn't seem to be doing Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson any favors, and after hitting the headlines for a lot of the wrong reasons with his Beast Games series, it looks like he can't catch a break.

Even before Beast Games came out, plaintiffs had filed a suit against Amazon and MrBeast's production company. When Beast Games came out, it was then branded as 'sadistic' by some, while others said it left them feeling sick.

While Beast Games might've topped Amazon's charts in over 50 countries, it seems to be having a knock-on effect on the rest of his content. Away from Squid Games-inspired gameshows, MrBeast's YouTube channel has made a name for itself with videos that have marooned him on a desert island, in an underground cave, and tasked people with saving a Lamborghini in the hopes of keeping it.

Donaldson has announced an upcoming challenge for his channel, confirming it will involve two aviation graduates and a private jet. Referring to it as 'crazy', MrBeast said they've given unlimited fuel and can travel anywhere, but if they can stay inside for a full 100 days without stepping outside, they'll get to keep it.

Although Donaldson reassures us it's a nice jet, two of you being locked inside a tin can for 100 days is quite the challenge.

Looking at his channel, some of his most popular videos include similar ideas like "Last To Leave Circle Wins $500,000", "Survive 100 Days In Nuclear Bunker, Win $500,000", and "$10,000 Every Day You Survive In The Wilderness".

Still, it seems that his critics are becoming even more vocal in a post-Beast Games world.

Responding to a post about MrBeast's jet challenge, one skeptic wrote: "Mr. Beast, I’ve lost all faith in humanity after watching your Beast Game series.

"Please go back to your early YouTube days, where there was kindness and positivity, instead of continuing to degrade humanity."

Others agreed as someone else added: "Sounds like MrBeast is out of touch with reality. While some struggle to make ends meet, he's turning luxury into a game."

A third concluded: "MrBeast fall off needs to be studied."

Some said it feels like we're actually heading more toward a Squid Game reality with every day, although let's not pretend that his jet stunt won't get millions of views. Even if MrBeast's views aren’t quite what they used to be, there's a reason he has some of the most popular videos around.

For all of those who say they won't be watching MrBeast's latest stunt, you know there will be far more who will be.
