MrBeast has been diagnosed with ‘severe’ eye issues after comments online convinced him to seek medical help.
The YouTuber went to see a doctor after he noticed he was receiving a lot of the same messages from viewers.
The content creator has become well known for his elaborate contests with prizes involving huge sums of cash.

His antics on the platform have earned him the title of most subscribed-to YouTube channel with 332 million followers.
It’s also been pretty lucrative as MrBeast - whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson - was named the highest-earning creator of 2023 by Forbes and the highest-paid YouTuber in 2022.
It is estimated that he earned a whopping $54 million last year alone.

Recently, the YouTuber took to X, formerly Twitter, to reveal that he often gets told that he does not smile with his eyes.
Donaldson went on to say that this spurred him to get advice from a professional.
In a post by one user on X, it read: “My husband says @MrBeast doesn’t smile with his eyes, but I don’t see it. What do you think?”
Donaldson responded to the tweet directly, saying: “Funny story, I get this comment a lot and it’s why I got my eyes examined and I found out I have a severe astigmatism and my vision is horrible.

Without contacts I can’t see unless I’m squinting and that’s why my eyes used to look off in photos when I smiled. So thanks to everyone who pointed it out, you helped me realize objects far away are not supposed to be blurry and now I have contacts lol.”
Others took to the comment section to share their own thoughts and reactions, with one user writing: “This was actually WAY more wholesome than I expected it to be.”

Another said: “You always smile like as if you don't want to be there.”
And a third person commented: “Funny how life works! What started as a comment turned into a whole eye-opening (pun intended) journey! Glad you got it sorted out—contacts really came through as the MVP here.”
Although, not everyone was convinced that Donaldson has gotten to the bottom of his issue, with one person making another suggestion.
They said: “Not being able to smile with your eyes doesn't have anything to do with your actual eyes, it has to do with your smile and if the skin around your eyes moves with the smile.”
