The death of a celebrity is a great tragedy for their fans, especially if that celebrity dies with a creative work unfinished. Sometimes colleagues and relatives can polish and release an unfinished work to help ease the pain, such as Robert Jordan’s final Wheel of Time book, or Carrie Fisher’s appearance in The Last Jedi after her death.
Famed YouTuber Mr Beast has a different plan in place for the event of his death, however.
Mr Beast appeared alongside Logan Paul and KSI on the Impaulsive podcast to discuss a range of topics, from having children and doling out advice for parents to details of Mr Beast’s upcoming Amazon show.

The most peculiar part of the podcast came when discussing a recent video by Nikocado Avocado where he revealed he had been using pre-recorded videos to fool his fans as he completed a weight loss journey. Mr Beast then commented that he had a bunch of videos pre-filmed so his channel can keep putting out content when he dies.
Logan Paul and KSI expressed shock over this statement and asked Mr Beast to clarify. “I should probably re-film them. I mean, I was probably like 21 or 22. But I filmed videos. I have about fifteen just really easy videos filmed. So if I die my channel can keep uploading.”
Mr Beast went on to explain that some people in his company know where to find the files on his old computer. He has instructed them that in the event of his untimely demise they are to upload these videos once per month “So it’s like I’m still alive.”

His fellow podcast hosts were clearly very surprised by the statement, but quickly turned it into something of a joke, with KSI saying: “So its the final video of you being like ‘Oh so I’m dead now and Heaven is lit.”
“Yeah,” agreed Mr Beast, “I made jokes in those videos like I;m probably in a coffin right now, Just chilling. Don’t feel bad for me, I’m dead.”
Logan Paul was baffled, “Wow, that’s crazy that you think like that. Your brain works in crazy ways.”

Despite the morbid nature of the discussion, having a plan in place for an unexpected event is probably a wise course. YouTubers can suffer tragedies as easily as the rest of us. Such as retro gaming YouTuber LGR, who lost his house and most of his collection when Hurricane Helene blow through his neighbourhood.
