Cody Ko has issued an update following allegations made against him by fellow YouTuber Tana Mongeau.
In June, 26-year-old Mongeau accused Ko, 33, of having a sexual relationship with her when she was 17 and he was 25.
She claimed on an episode of her Cancelled podcast that she had ‘hooked up’ with him in the past.

She also alleged that the veteran content creator had been informed of her true age ahead of time by Gabbie Hanna, 33.
“There was a situation with Gabbie Hanna at a Playlist Live event where she pulled him aside and told him, like, ‘Yo, she’s 17.’ And then we still went and hooked up,” she declared.
Following the allegations, Ko has faced pressure to respond directly to Mongeau’s accusations.

In a new statement, posted to TMG (Tiny Meat Gang) Studios’ website, the social media star has revealed he’s stepped day from the podcast collective following the ‘personal issue’ coming to light.
“We want to start by thanking you all for your patience while we were working to figure out the best path forward for the studio,” the July 26 post began.
“We know it’s been a very strenuous few weeks for everyone ad we really appreciate your willingness to bear with us.”
The pair went on to praise TMG Studios staff for being the most ‘creative and incredible’ collective before claiming that they couldn’t be ‘more proud’ of the incredible roster they’d built up.

Ko and Miller revealed they were now entering into the ‘next phase of the studio’ they co-founded in 2021.
They also claimed that Ko would no longer be ‘involved in the day-to-day operations.
“What has transpired over the past few weeks is a personal issue for him,” they continued.

“And Cody wants to remove any effect this is having on your professional and personal lives and the work you and our other hosts have done to make TMG Studios so successful.
“Noel will continue to lead the team. His top priority remains the life and growth of the studio and its talent.
“Our audience sees your hard work every week and we want that to continue. They deserve it and so do you.”
They added that TMG Studios had ‘built something truly special’ and that Miller was committed to ‘keeping that alive and well’.
