Leaked ‘script’ for Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson has shocking similarities to result of fight

Leaked ‘script’ for Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson has shocking similarities to result of fight

The alleged 'script' was making the rounds on social media

Jake Paul has defeated Mike Tyson via unanimous decision after the pair took to the ring in Texas.

The fight took place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, and was live streamed around the world on Netflix for those tuning in from home.

Prior to the event, a leaked ‘script’ for the fight began to circulate social media, which left viewers feeling sceptical.

Now the fight is over, there’s a few similarities viewers can’t help but notice.

Shared on social media, the alleged 'script' in question detailed a round-by-round breakdown that ended in Round 5 with a knockout victory for Jake Paul.

It featured highlights such as Tyson appearing 'a fraction slower than in his prime' in Round 1 but 'coming alive' in Round 2.

Fatigue sets in for the 58-year-old as time wears on though, with Paul's 'perfectly devastating' right hand knocks Tyson out for the count.

Now, there’s absolutely no confirmation that this leaked ‘script’ is legitimate, but people have brought to attention the similarities it has to the actual outcome.

Tyson did start the fight strong, but like it states, as the match progressed, Paul quickly began to come out stronger.

All three judges scored the fight for Paul, 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73.

The 27-year-old landed 78 punches from 278 thrown (28 percent), while Tyson landed just 18 punches from 97 thrown, according to Netflix.

Despite his loss, people sang Tyson’s praises online.

"The fact that Tyson was able to stay in it for 8 rounds at 58, against a 27 year old is an achievement in of itself,” one viewer wrote on X.

Another sang the boxers praises, saying: "Honestly Mike Tyson won. let’s see if Jake Paul can beat a 27 year old in 31 years."

“For a 58 Y/O man Mike Tyson did very well all things considered,” shared a third.

In the run up, Tyson also faced some serious health problems, which he spoke about in their Netflix documentary.

The boxer revealed that he was ‘throwing up blood’ and feared he was 'going to die’.

‘They found I had a big ulcer, two-and-a-half inches, and it was bleeding. All my friends were calling me like I was dying.”

Whilst it’s very likely that the ‘script’ for the outcome was just written up by AI or manufactured by a fan beforehand - you have to admit, it’s similar in places.
