Mark Zuckerberg’s wife revealed a “major red flag” that she spotted on their first date.
Priscilla Chan admitted that there nearly wasn’t a second date with Zuckerberg after a comment he made stuck out to her.
At the time, the pair were students at Harvard University and the Meta boss was yet to launch Facebook.

The couple invited CBS Mornings into their home in 2019 where they were met by Gayle King.
During the chat, the couple said that they have date night once a week, where no work talk is allowed and Chan revealed how it was actually 'Mark’s idea'.
But further into the interview, Chan shared how their chance meeting in the line for the bathroom at a frat party nearly never went anywhere.

Speaking to King about their first date back in 2003, Chan said: “There was a major red flag. I'm like a type A student. At the end of the date, he said, ‘I have a take home midterm I need to do but I'd rather hang out with you’.”
Zuckerberg chimed in that he thought the comment would be a 'compliment', but that’s not how Chan saw it.
She continued: “I thought he was going nowhere, he's blowing off his homework.”

Luckily, things did work out and the couple tied the knot in 2012 and they now share three children.
In response to the interview, people took to social media to share their thoughts on Zuckerberg and Chan’s dynamic, with one user writing: “Loved how Mark kept looking at his wife throughout the whole interview.”
Another said: “This dude pays so much attention to his wife whenever she talks.”
A third wrote: “They seem so in love. I hope their marriage lasts forever!”

And a fourth person added: “They look at each other like they’re in middle school madly in love. Lol they’re definitely a happy couple. Good for them!”
Zuckerberg recently displayed his romantic side by having a giant 7ft statue commissioned of his wife.
The turquoise statue was created by New York-based artist Daniel Arsham and depicts Chan in mid stride, draped in a chrome cloak.

The Facebook co-founder unveiled the new artwork on Instagram, posting a pic of 39-year-old Chan standing next to the sculpture in their back garden.
In the caption, he wrote: “Bringing back the Roman tradition of making sculptures of your wife. Thanks @danielarsham.”
In the comments, Chan replied, writing: "The more of me the better?" followed by a heart emoji.
