MetaBallStudios claimed its YouTube fame for producing mind-blowing animations that helped us imagine the unimaginable.
One example is what would it look like if the global population of 8 billion people stood side by side.
The content creator has also compared asteroid sizes, showcasing just how daunting they are when put up against everyday objects.

The 2008 TC3 asteroid which measures around 4.1 m in diameter, for starters, is just over the height of two people standing on top of each other.
Moving on to the 2004 FH which measures 30 metres and was been sized up against a large house. Safe to say, the house wouldn't likely survive the impact.
At 370 m in size, the 99942 Apophis stands as tall as the Eiffel Tower.

The sizes get even more terrifying from here where the asteroid is compared to the size of New York City.
Despite its innocent name Albert, its monstrous size of 2.36 km could do some serious damage to the city that never sleeps.
For context, the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs - the Chicxulub crater - measured around 10 km, sitting in between the 3200 Phaethon (5.8 km) and 433 Euros (16.84 km).
The scale of asteroid sizes reaches its peak with 1 Ceres, a dwarf planet that lies in between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, recording a diameter of 939 km.

Towards the end of the video, the last few asteroids are confirmed by keen-eyed viewers to be dwarf planets, as they appear much more spherical in shape.
One viewer pointed out the horror of the video, writing: 'This went from being interesting to terrifying real quick...' whilst another replied: 'Why did i got goosebumps from this? Its just a giant rock'.
Whereas one respondent plainly commented: 'I’m not dying to a asteroid named “Albert”'.

Others appreciate the animated comparison of what's out in space, like: 'fantastic comparison. when you consider the devistation the one that wiped out the dinosoars (eros size) did, and how comparitively small it is, it leaves me in wonder at the speed and energy it contained.'
Meanwhile, a social media user even gave credit to the asteroid for staying in their lane saying: 'Huge respect for the asteroids for just staying there and not destroying earth.'
