Back in June 2013, the CIA publicly acknowledged the extra-terrestrial base's existence.
Other states that reached high ranks for the most sightings in 2023 were California (440), Florida (293), Texas (230), Washington (212) and New York (156).
Contrastingly, on the East Coast, upstate New York’s Hamilton County (451.9) and Dare County, North Carolina (371.4) were popular for UFO sightings.
Curiously, the map portrays that the majority of sightings clustered around the coastal regions of the country, which may be partly due to the reduced light pollution and clearer skies, along with less built-up areas, that allow the sightings to be spotted easier.

According to the Center, the overall sightings reported in 2023 (4,186) were down 19% from 2022 (5,174). With us only just settling into 2024, it's waiting to be confirmed whether this year will see a rise again.
Only recently, a pilot flying over Columbia spotted a UFO fly past him in the skies, which was later authenticated by a ufologist.
The map is designed to help the Department of Defense’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office in gathering reports of unidentified aerial phenomena sightings. These reports will be included in the Historical Record Report, which is required by Congress and expected to be submitted by June 2024.

The website's creator, Christian Stepien, spoke about the two most intriguing videos it received in 2023 from the likes of Texas and Utah.
The report from Texas showed a glowing object resembling a 'computer cursor' in the sky. Whereas, Utah witnessed two spherical metal objects flying through the skies.
Stepien admitted: 'There’s certainly a sign that there’s something anomalous going on and it would be nice if the government paid more attention and did some serious research.'
