It's a strange object that looks like a jellyfish, but it's flying above ground - eerily soaring over buildings.
This is all captured in footage recorded in 2018, but only just publicly released.
The unusual object has been dubbed a 'jellyfish UFO' and was allegedly captured by US forces flying over an Iraq military base. You really have to see it to believe it, so check it out:
The footage comes as part of a new documentary called TMZ Presents: UFO Revolution, where Jeremy Corbell, a filmmaker and ufologist (yes, that's actually a thing), looks into this unidentified object (UFO) - or unidentified anomalous phenomenon (UAP).

Corbell shared the video on X, formerly known as Twitter, and wrote: "Today we release the RAW footage of a military filmed UAP incursion within a United States joint operations base.
"This UAP of unknown origin displayed transmedium capability - and has been officially designated by the United States intelligence agencies as a UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena). This designation is currently maintained."
According to Corbell, the grainy imagery was taken using thermographic/forward looking infrared technology at a US military base in October 2018.

The video shows a jellyfish-shaped object flying around - it's weirdly elegant in its movement, which only adds to the creepy effect. Its color changes in the thermal imagery, suggesting its temperature was also shifting.
Corbell said the object eventually flew over a body of water, where it "actuated a controlled descent - submerging into the water". It later emerged and "shot-off at an extreme rate of speed - beyond the optical scope of the observation platform", he suggested.
Corbell seems to think various signs point towards it being a UAP, such as the fact it wasn't visible using night vision technology and displayed positive lift - meaning there were no signs it was using propulsion to fly around.
So, what could it be?

"This intriguing footage is hard to categorize. Skeptical theories include this being a tangled mass of balloons drifting in the wind, or dirt on the lens or on the protective glass around the camera," UFO expert Nick Pope told Metro.
"We’ll have to wait and see if this further footage emerges, if it’s verifiably part of the same incident, and if the Pentagon confirms the authenticity of the footage."
Pope also noted that previously obtained footage from Corbell was authentic - but "many questions remain" before we can work out what the supposed 'jellyfish UFO' actually is.

Sue Gough, Department of Defense spokesperson said: “We do not comment on the authenticity of alleged DOD material that may have been leaked. DOD takes public interest in unidentified anomalous phenomena seriously and is committed to openness and accountability to the American people. This commitment must be balanced with the department’s obligation to protect sensitive information, sources, and methods. To that end, AARO will provide updates to the public via its website as it resolves UAP cases, including sharing the analytic approach and method used for each case, as well as imagery, when approved for public release.
“The Department of Defense takes the potential unauthorized disclosure of national security information very seriously. DOD organizations, including AARO, regularly emphasize to their workforces the importance of protecting national security information in accordance with information security laws, regulations, and processes.”
