There’s a website that lets you see Elon Musk’s earnings in real time and it’s an insane amount of money.

Billionaire Musk is the founder and CEO of Tesla as well as the owner of X, formerly Twitter, but most of his wealth comes from his investments.

The entrepreneur used to be the boss of PayPal and has gone on to become one of the richest men in the world.

He reportedly has a net worth of $235.4 billion but what does that mean in real time?

Now there is a website you can browse to see Musk’s wealth rise throughout the day.

On the page, you have the option to put in a figure, which the website suggests could be your annual salary amount, and it tells you how long it’d take Musk to make the same amount.

Say you type in the average US salary, which is $51,480, it would take the tech mogul two minutes and 15 seconds to earn the same sum.

On the website, it says: “The Tesla CEO’s wealth is no secret, but exactly how fast does his money stack in real terms? Breaking his yearly earnings down to the second, see how he compares to other high earners and find out how long it’d take him to earn your salary.”

According to the site, Musk earns around $22,500 every minute.

Despite his vast wealth, the billionaire revealed that he was selling up his $130 million property portfolio in a bid to fund a colony on Mars.

Known for having his pulse on the future of tech, Musk also announced that humanoid robots made by Tesla would begin mass production as early as next year.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Musk posted: “Tesla will have genuinely useful humanoid robots in low production for Tesla internal use next year and, hopefully, high production for other companies in 2026.”

He wants the bot to become an assistant, foreseeing a friendly side to Optimus, somewhat similar to a pet or Star Wars' R2D2 or C3PO, and imagines that it could be a useful companion for everyday owners in their home, helping with tasks and errands like fixing the car or helping to get groceries from the shop.

Of course, if you want a Tesla robot for yourself, it’ll come at a hefty price. While the official cost is not yet known, it’s estimated that they will be priced at around $20,000.
