The Trump administration is facing some tough questioning after a planned attack on Yemen was seemingly leaked to a journalist ahead of time.
This wasn't done by some investigative journalism, but instead, The Atlantic's editor-in-chief is said to have accidentally added to a Signal group chat that included the likes of Vice President JD Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
Although Hegseth had tried to discredit The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg and Elon Musk has downplayed the entire incident, there have been continued complaints about this security breach from the Democrats and the Republicans.

There was also a surprising response from former Trump opponent Hillary Clinton, who was famously caught in an email scandal that saw the POTUS threaten to jail her.

The aftermath of the airstrikes against Yemen's Houthi rebels is now being dominated by some uncomfortable questions about who knew what and whether any action will be taken. Still, President Trump claims he had no knowledge of the incident. When asked what he thinks about The Atlantic's article, the Commander-in-Chief told reporters: "I don’t know anything about it, I’m not a big fan of The Atlantic. To me it’s a magazine that’s going out of business."
When the reporter was asked to clarify what was leaked, they reiterated it was to do with the Houthi airstrikes. Seemingly moving the conversation away from The Atlantic's claims, Trump added: "Well, it couldn’t have been very effective, because the attack was very effective, I can tell you that. I don’t know anything about it. You’re telling me about it for the first time."

With the clip being shared online, both sides were quick to make their voices heard.
One Trump supporter said: "Funny, I don’t remember this kind of outrage when Biden was literally leaving classified docs next to his Corvette...Hypocrisy."
Another added: "You think he’s sitting there personally encrypting war plans on Signal? Please b*tch, The man’s got bigger fish to fry like running a country and dodging the media’s endless gotcha traps."
Calling out the current administration on YouTube, one critic said: "You’re the F**king president and you have to learn stuff from a press conference Wow."

Someone else concluded: "Don’t forget that 80 million people voted for this guy. Really scary"
As reported by The Hill, the White House is standing firmly behind the President and those in his administration. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt said: "As President Trump said, the attacks on the Houthis have been highly successful and effective. President Trump continues to have the utmost confidence in his national security team, including National Security Advisor Mike Waltz."

One of the most damning parts of the leaks is the idea that Vice President JD Vance wasn't aligned with the airstrikes. In one message, an account labeled 'JD Vance' said: "I think we are making a mistake...I am not sure the president is aware how inconsistent this is with his message on Europe right now."
It's no secret that the global threat of war is heating up right now, with Trump himself warning about the impending dangers of World War 3.
Some are already referring to 'Signalgate', and even though Trump is keen to promote the success of the airstrikes, the controversy surrounding the leaks looks like it's only going to get worse.
