But this time, they've added something that might just save your wardrobe.
The fresh feature, which hides within the photo app, is so simple yet has been slated as totally life-changing - especially for those that often shrink their favorite jumpers or turn their whites a funky shade of pink.

Let’s put you out of your misery regardless. It’s a feature that gives users the ability to take a photo of laundry care labels and get an instant translation of the cryptic symbols - so you know exactly how to properly care for your clothes.
The hack was was made known via a video that went viral on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter), showcasing how the nifty feature works.
Snap a photo of the care label, swipe up in the photos app, tap on 'laundry care', and boom - you're now a laundry guru.
The internet has reacted appropriately to the vid, with one user going as far as to say the feature “will change my life - just tried it and it works”.

Others have praised the practicality of the top tip, with comments like: “Finally, a useful Siri feature” and “Well, I’ll be damned, thank you for this”.
Another joked: “Now if you ruin expensive clothes, you can blame it on iOS.”
But like with anything, there’s your fair share of sceptics.
Some argue that a quick Google search could solve the laundry symbol mystery just as easily. (Probably just jealous Android users).

Nevertheless, the convenience of having the feature right at your fingertips is pretty cool.
Aside from revolutionizing your laundry routine, iOS 17’s latest update, 17.2, released last week, is not just about decoding your washing instructions.
It's packed with fixes for 12 security vulnerabilities. Apple's been pretty tight-lipped about the specifics, but they've patched areas including WebKit, the backbone of Safari, and fixed a Bluetooth-related bug that could let someone capture your keystrokes.
Remember, this update is not for everyone. It's available on iPhones from 2018 onwards. To get your hands on it, head to 'Settings', tap 'General', and then 'Software Update'.
