Jimmy Kimmel has hit back at a claim from Elon Musk, issuing a 'savage' six-word statement alongside a scathing takedown of the richest man in the world's recent actions.
Elon Musk has been on quite the tirade in recent weeks prior to and following the US election, which saw the Republican Party and Donald Trump - who Musk keenly supported - emerge victorious.
While the technology mogul has already picked fights with infamous hacking group Anonymous, comedy show SNL, and countless others, he has since set his sights on popular late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

It all started with Kimmel's post-election monologue, which saw the talk show host declare that Trump's victory "was a terrible night for women, for children, for the hundreds of thousands of hard working immigrants [...] for health care, for our climate, for science, for justice, for free speech."
In exercising his 'free speech', Musk replied to a video of this monologue on X, which he owns, declaring: "Kimmel is an insufferable nonsense propaganda puppet."
Kimmel, of course, had a response in return to the richest man in the world, with six words in particular proving quite the biting pushback.
"At least my children like me," Kimmel claimed, making reference to the fractured and public lack of relationship Musk has his with estranged daughter.

This comeback, met with rapturous laughter and applause, was followed up by Kimmel pointing out: "the guy who paid people a million dollars a day to vote for Donald Trump is calling me a propaganda puppet."
He then continues to argue that Musk's purchase of Twitter and its subsequent use in tandem with the US election makes it "literally a propaganda machine," insisting that Musk's own declaration of 'insufferable nonsense propaganda puppet' is best applied to the billionaire himself.
This isn't the first time that Musk has made his thoughts known about the late night host either, as the Tesla and SpaceX owner posted on X that "Kimmel is as funny as a stale sandwich."

Musk has also repeatedly claimed that other celebrities and publications are 'puppets' and proprietors of propaganda, with names like Cardi B, NPR, and the New York Times on his long list.
You'd think that Elon Musk would be satisfied after his net worth increased by a staggering $26bn following Trump's election victory, further cementing his status as the richest individual in the world with an overall value of $355bn - over $100bn more than the second highest according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
However, we wouldn't be surprised if the South African has more choice words for anyone who goes against him, and this definitely won't be the last time he throws around accusations of propaganda.
