Elon Musk is back with another prediction that could completely change our future.
Musk recently appeared on Tucker Carlson's show, where he talked about AI and the woke virus, the US elections, and more. And some viewers felt he was holding back his true thoughts on the future of AI and where it's headed.
In the past, he’s also made some pretty bold claims like saying that there will be 20 billion humanoid robots in the future.

Now, he’s gone ahead and shared on X (formerly Twitter) that 'all transport will be fully autonomous within 50 years.'
This came in response to a tweet from Tim Urban (@waitbutwhy)'s post that described how transport has evolved over the years.

It read that in 190 BC, people travelled on 'horseback, horse-drawn carriage, sailboat' then '2,000 years later,' people travelled via 'horseback, horse-drawn carriage, sailboat.'
Then, in 1970, people were travelling by 'bike, train, subway, car, bus, airplane, spaceship'.
Elon's reply has received 42.6 million views but people are divided on whether his predictions could be true.
"If anyone doubts that all transport will be fully autonomous within 50 years ask yourself how many are using today a landline phone," one user argued.

"Hint: almost nobody It's only 17 years since Apple presented the iPhone and in another 30 years, no one even knows anymore what a landline is".
Meanwhile, another user said: "Not a fan, takes away the spirit of adventure."
Someone else chimed in: "All cars should be self driving so governments have no reason to install speed cameras and employ traffic police."

One other user stated: "This is the future."
Just yesterday, Musk revealed three new high-tech Tesla products, including a surprise autonomous passenger van, during a highly anticipated Tesla event in California.
The SpaceX founder made an entrance by riding up to the stage in a 'Cybercab' at the event titled 'We, Robot,' held at Warner Bros. Studio.
3.6 million viewers watched the stream as a never-before-seen 20-person 'robovan' and the newest generation of Tesla’s humanoid robots also made their debuts.

“The autonomous future is here,” Musk declared. “We have 50 fully autonomous cars here tonight. You’ll see model Ys and the Cybercab. All driverless.”
The tech billionaire (almost trillionaire) said self-driving taxis would be rolled out 'before 2027' and would be available for under $30,000 each and an operating cost of 20 cents a mile.
