Elon Musk officially agrees to fight Mark Zuckerberg 'any time' under 'any rules' in new video

Elon Musk has officially agreed to fight industry rival Mark Zuckerberg “any time” under “any rules”.

A video of the Tesla mogul agreeing to fight the Meta boss has emerged after he was asked about the possibility by a fan.

It was last summer when the idea of an MMA match between the two entrepreneurs first went viral after the pair took shots at each other over social media.

The thought of the physical battle seemed slim in reality but now is looking more possible than ever after Musk talked about in on July 24.

In the video posted to Musk’s platform X, formerly Twitter, the billionaire said: “I’ll fight Zuckerberg any place, any time, any rules”.

The pair are both in the top 10 richest men in the world but apparently that doesn’t make them immune to taking childish swipes at one another.

The feud initially began in June 2023 when Musk declared that he was “up for a cage match” against the Facebook co-founder.

This was ahead of Zuckerberg’s launch of his new social media platform, Threads, which was just a rumor at the time.

Responding to Musk’s challenge, Zuckerberg took to Instagram stories to tell him to “send the location”.

Following this, Musk accepted and in August 2023, he posted on X claiming that he was outside Zuckerberg’s door and ready for a warm-up fight.

"I challenge him to a duel under any circumstances"

However, a spokesperson for the Meta CEO revealed that he was travelling at the time and had not interest in fighting someone who “randomly shows up at his house”.

Since then, no actual time and place has been publicly discussed and Zuckerberg taunted that he’s not “holding his breath” for the fight to actually take place.

But now Musk seems to be reopening the conversation and we could be looking at a real head-to-head match happening between the two tech moguls.

This isn’t the first time Musk’s addressed the idea of a fight - in October 2023, he also spoke about it in an interview for the Joe Rogan podcast.

On the episode, he joked: “I challenge him to a duel under any circumstances. I’m willing to fight him in a house, on a mouse, with a louse.”

Zuckerberg has been training hard with UFC champions Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya so it looks like he’s be ready if a battle does get penciled in.

Time will tell to see if he takes the bait and fires back.
