Tech billionaire Elon Musk has hit the headlines recently as his Neuralink start-up implanted its brain chip into the first human patient.
Now, he's back in the news but this time on the subject of his automotive side of business.
Back in 2022, Snoop Dogg made a plea at Musk for a free Tesla. Two years later, Musk has responded in a way you'd probably expect.

The rapper said: 'This is the message for Elon Musk. Nephew, I need a Tesla. One of your peoples came to my show and told me they was gonna get me one. I'm still waiting. Do I have to buy one? Or you gonna send me one?'
'Get do it and do it. And congrats on Twitter,' he added.
Viewers were in agreement about Snoop earning a free Tesla saying: 'Better give him his damn tesla Elon' along with 'get the man himself a Tesla.'

Despite whether or not Snoop remembers posting the video, the Californian-based rapper now has now got his answer.
Unsurprisingly, Musk's response on social media bluntly shut down the request.
In response to the video, Musk posted on his rebranded platform, X: 'Everyone pays full price for a Tesla, including me.'
The SpaceX founder has stated in the past that even his mother, Maye Musk, received no discount when he bought her a Tesla.

When a family member requests a family discount, Musk responded with 'Everybody’s family when you buy a Tesla.'
With the rapper having a net worth of around $160 million, many X users are surprised he doesn't just buy his own Tesla vehicle. Funnily enough, Snoop Dogg is actually already a Tesla owner after he purchased a white Model X SUV in 2017.
Tesla currently offers five vehicles: Model X, Model Y, Model 3, Model S, and the Cybertruck. The cheapest Tesla vehicle is the Model 3 which starts at $38,990, whilst the premium version of the Cybertruck is around $99,990.

Other music creators such as Pharrell Williams have been spotted driving the newly launched Cybertruck.
The 'Happy' singer rolled up to a Louis Vuitton store in Miami in the futuristic-looking electric vehicle but caught the eyes of the public when he failed to parallel park. It took a good 10 minutes of attempts before handing the keys over to the valet team.
