With the takeover of streaming services like Netflix and Disney Plus, DVDs seem like relics.
You might have a pile of them stashed away in a cupboard, often completely forgotten about.
But instead of collecting dust in your home, those DVDs could actually sell for a fortune.

It turns out that DVDs of classic films released in the 1990s are going for a pretty penny after the price of some collectables have skyrocketed.
According to Ryan Toomey, who is the editor of Film Geek, there are certain movies that are being snapped up for a lot of money.
He says that one particular movie to look out for is the 1994 collector’s edition of Pulp Fiction.

Speaking to the Sun, Toomey said: “Particularly because of its unique aesthetic appeal and the enhanced viewing experience it offers via the addition of behind-the-scenes footage and other content.”
The film gained an impressive 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes but how much could you get if you stuck the DVD on eBay?
Well, specifically the 15th anniversary Limited Edition Collector's Briefcase can fetch the big bucks.
The collector’s edition goes for around £150, with listings for that price currently open on the resale site.

In space, nobody can hear you scream.
But they'll surely hear fans scrambling to get their hands on this 25th anniversary set of the four Alien movies.
Given that it's got nine DVDs and is presented in the head of a xenomorph, it's easy to see why sci-fi fans would be willing to pay the big bucks for this one.
National Treasure (presidential election) - £173
Nicolas Cage's 2004 Disney hit is a treasure all on its own, with fans searching high and low for this coveted piece.
Toomey explained: “Instead of a normal hardshell DVD case, the DVDs are hidden in a replica of the President’s secret book featured in the sequel, which is packed with fun tidbits and immense detail as shown by one lucky owner.”
The Real Ghostbusters Complete Collection - £750
I ain't afraid of no ghosts - but that price does frighten me a little bit.
This DVD set of the animated series is going for a bone-chilling £750.
The most elusive of all is the 2008 version which is housed in a mock firehouse, based on the lair in which the Ghostbusters operated from.
