US President Donald Trump has been left stunned by his son's 'unbelievable aptitude' in technology, as Barron shocked him after having his laptop taken away.
Donald Trump's second term as president has offered a stronger technology focus than before, as he has created cryptocurrency working groups, posed bizarrely with electric vehicles, and signed off $500 million AI partnerships - and that's just within the first few months.
Arguably much of this comes from his strong relationship with tech mogul Elon Musk, who has his own advanced tech office inside the White House, but there are still times when the president remains stunned when it comes to gadgets.

Speaking with Fox News, President Trump illustrates a moment when his youngest son Barron 'stunned' him with a laptop:
"I turn off his laptop and I go back five minutes later, he's got his laptop. I say 'how did you do that?', 'none of your business dad'. He's got an unbelievable aptitude in technology."

This particular observation came after Trump was asked whether Barron's future would be in either business or politics, instead proposing that it should be in technology instead - although he is currently pursuing an MBA at New York University's Stern School of Business.
The specifics surrounding Barron's technological wizardry aren't as convincing for the people of social media though, as many have wondered whether it was simply a case of turning the laptop back on:
"LOL is Trump really describing having to go and turn off Barron's laptop at bedtime, checking back in and seeing Barron has snuck back on, and being told to mind his business when he asks how Barron managed to boot the computer back up?" Asks one user in the replies. "Isn't Barron 19 away at college?"

Another wonders: "So 45 is amazed his 19 year old can press a power button? Is that the bar now?"
Whether it's more complicated than that is currently unclear, but it doesn't exactly show Barron's 'expertise' in technology is he's simply able to pick his laptop back up and turn it on.
"Sometimes I got to remind myself this guy is nearly 80," writes one reply, "his age really shows in clips like this."
Others have taken the more extreme side of things by viewing Barron as some master hacker that's capable of cybercrime:

"So he's happy his son Barron is a hacker? It's weird but normal for Donald Trump's family. He should applaud what the hackers did to Twitter 2 weeks ago."
It's unlikely that it's that complicated though, and instead just a classic case of someone not knowing the best course of action is to turn something off and on again.
