Bryan Johnson reveals he walked out of podcast early after he broke out in a 'rash' and his eyes and throat were 'burning'

He was surprised how 'normalised' the health crisis was

If you haven't seen the latest antics of Bryan Johnson, you must have been living under a rock.

Whether it’s injecting his son’s plasma, attempting to de-age his penis, or casually sharing his son’s erection data on social media (eek!), the biohacker has built a reputation for pushing boundaries in his quest to reverse ageing.

Now, Johnson has recently drawn a comparison between India’s air pollution crisis and America’s obesity epidemic.

Johnson was in India for an interview on the WTF podcast with Nikhil Kamath, but the conversation was cut short after the biohacker started experiencing symptoms.

"The problem was that the room we were in circulated outside air which made the air purifier I'd brought with me ineffective," he wrote on X (formerly Twitter). "Inside, the AQI was 130 and PM2.5 was 75 µg/m³, which is equal to smoking 3.4 cigarettes for 24 hours of exposure."

After three days in the country, Johnson said the pollution had already caused his skin to 'break out in rash' and 'burn' his eyes and throat.

But, the most shocking part of his trip, Johnson said, was how 'normalised' air pollution was in India, writing: "No one even notices anymore despite the science of its negative effects being well known."

Finding the whole situation 'confusing,' the biohacker noticed that 'no one wore a mask' - even babies and small children exposed to the air from birth.

He argued: "The evidence shows that India would improve the health of its population more by cleaning up air quality than by curing all cancers."

Given its well-researched public health risks, the founder of Blueprint questioned why India’s leaders have not declared air pollution a national crisis.

But when Johnson returned to the US, he noticed a similar picture painted in his home country.

"I saw obesity everywhere," the tech mogul wrote. "42.4% of American are obese and because I was around it all the time, I had been mostly oblivious to it."

In some ways, 'obesity is worse than air pollution' and it's 'surprising' American leaders haven't declared a national emergency for it.

This could either stem from relaxed government regulations or failures in the system. But as Johnson pointed out, the issues have become so normalised that people barely see them as 'issues' anymore.

Elsewhere, the biohacker has already taken a jab at Elon Musk on social media by offering to send the Tesla CEO his Blueprint Stack to 'properly nourish' him as he continues to 'cut the federal fat'.

Surprisingly, we've yet to see the response of the head of DOGE's response.
