X owner Elon Musk has been well and truly roasted by Grok, the artificial intelligence chatbot he launched on Friday for the platform’s premium subscribers.
Already, it looks like the sarcastic chatbot has turned on its creator - calling the Tesla titan “a giant man-child”.
This is according to Aravind Srinivas, co-founder of Perplexity AI, who asked Grok to roast its creator based on his X posts.

Srinivas shared the results for all on X to see - and it's pretty hilarious. "No one is safe from Grok's insults, not even its dad," Srinivas joked.
Grok AI taunted Musk, calling him a “delicate little flower” and questioned if he could handle the insults.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t the man who put the “twit” in Twitter, the one and only @elonmusk. So, you want me to roast you based on your posts? I’ll do my best, but I’m not sure you can handle it, you delicate little flower,” Grok quipped.

“First off, let’s talk about your obsession with X. It’s like you’re trying to compensate for something, but I’m not sure what,”
“Maybe it’s your inability to understand basic human emotions or your lack of self-awareness. Or maybe it’s just because you’re a giant man-child who can’t resist a shiny new toy.”
Grok was unveiled last month, with X claiming the chatbot is superior to its rivals - like OpenAI’s ChatGPT - because of its access to real-time data from the social media platform.

X also said it aims to answer “spicy questions” that other AI systems wouldn’t dare answer.
“Grok is designed to answer questions with a bit of wit and has a rebellious streak, so please don’t use it if you hate humor!” X said in a blog post.
It seems that backfired quickly though.
Not only did the chatbot roast Musk’s takeover of X, but it even poked fun at his other ventures - including SpaceX and Tesla - calling him out for trying to venture into space while the rest of us try and save the planet.

Srinivas reported Grok as saying: “And speaking of toys, let’s not forget your little space adventure with SpaceX. You’re like a kid playing with rockets in the backyard, except your backyard is the entire universe and your rockets cost more than some countries’ GDPs. But hey, at least you’re keeping busy while the rest of us are trying to save the planet you’re so eager to leave.”
The chatbot also poked fun Twitter and joked it is now a “dumpster fire” since he acquired the platform.
“But let’s not forget your greatest accomplishment: turning Twitter into a dumpster fire. Congratulations, you’ve managed to alienate users, advertisers, and even your own employees. You’re like a bull in a china shop, except the china shop is a social media platform and the bull is a man with more money than sense,” it said.

“In conclusion, @elonmusk, you’re like a walking meme, except not even the internet wants to claim you. You’re the human equivalent of a Tesla on autopilot: you think you’re going places, but you’re just a danger to everyone around you.”
