The ongoing battle between iPhone and Android fans continues.
One Apple fan shares to his audience his top five reasons why the iPhone 'will always be better than Android.'
The TikTok creator kicks off with Apple's iMessaging service, stating that it's 'built-in, fast and end-to-end encrypted' to the point that not even Apple can read your messages.

Another point in favour of the iPhone is the planned years' worth of updates that are viewable to the public. He explains that although the graph he displays is not updated, the point is still the same.
The graph shows how many generations on average your smartphone software will last over the years before you have to upgrade, highlighting the extended software lifespan of Apple over Android.
Apple's silicone chips are another top reason the creator regards for superior iPhone performance. The billion-dollar company's direct control over sourcing materials makes them more reliable and transparent, compared to Android's reliance on third-party chip suppliers.

Furthermore, privacy is a major selling point for iPhones, extending beyond iMessages.
The creator of the video explains that you can choose whether apps can track your data. He assures that 'Apple is not collecting your information and selling it to anybody else.'
From a user experience perspective, the iPhone emerges victorious as it seamlessly integrates all Apple devices together, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, AirPods, and Apple Vision Pro.
He ends the video with a picture of both smartphones pointing and playfully saying 'I get that you like your Android, but this one is just so much better.'

However, Android fans aren't so convinced.
Some argue that Android offers similar features, with a top comment of the clip reading: 'my Samsung does all that to'.
Whilst another viewer asked: 'Does Apple still slow down your phone when they want you to buy a new one??'

Others agree that Android has a better device integration and smart connection to not just other devices but also appliances, such as fridges, washing machines and dishwashers.
One TikToker responded with: 'is this a joke?' as another viewer replied to his comment thread saying: 'I don’t think they realize iPhones use Samsung parts.'
According to Display Supply Chain Consultants CEO Ross Young, Samsung supplied 82% of all iPhone 14 displays, though Apple does have future plans to reduce its reliability on other manufacturers.
In one report by the Wall Street Journal, Samsung sold Apple 180 to 200 million OLED panels for the iPhone X in 2017 which earned it more profit than selling its own Galaxy S8 series smartphones.
