Footage of an AI powered pizza machine has gone viral after it left everybody pointing out the same issue.

It looks like the advancements of technology are reaching new heights and it isn’t all about ChatGPT and Apple Intelligence.

While artificial intelligence is quickly becoming more integrated in our daily lives, I don’t think anyone could have predicted that AI would be making an appearance in our favorite pizza places.

But it seems like just one week into the new year that 2025 is already full of surprises.

This is because a clip of the bizarre machine was posted to TikTok and viewers were shocked to see it in action.

However, don’t get too excited about the future of pizza making as a lot of people shared the same sentiment over the reality of having an AI machine replace a human job.

In the video, which was shared by TikToker MomentsGang, the caption read: “This new AI powered pizza machine reduces a whole pizzeria staff to only 1 person.”

The footage showed the machinery spreading the sauce onto the dough before adding cheese and distributing pepperoni on top of it.

Then a human worker was tasked with taking the pizza from the machine and placing it into an oven.

And despite the quirky invention, it seems like people were less than impressed by the innovation of it.

Taking to the TikTok comment section to share their thoughts on the tech, one user said: “That’s honestly slower tbh.”

A second agreed, saying: “And slows everything down I've seen pro pizza guys (ok ok highschoolers working summer) put together full pizza skillfully in almost same time that thing finished the sauce.”

And a third person added: “Lol that's way slower than just a human doing it.”

Many more shared other reactions to the AI pizza machine, with one person commenting: “At least it puts the toppings generously.”

Another said: “fine, I will take a soulless pizza made with no love.”

A third added: “It's all fun and games until the machine acts up or malfunctions and the one person has to make all the orders.”

A fourth person joked: “Sorry our pizza machine is broke.”

And a fifth wrote: “‘From 8 staff members to 1’ ... 7 people lost their job.”

This prompted a reply from the original poster of the video, MomentsGang, who argued: “14 high skilled jobs created to design and build and maintain the machine.”
