There is a common problem with a particular iPhone feature and it is putting users at risk of getting fired.
You might want to double check that yours is working properly to avoid any issues with your boss.
As it seems that Apple users are being affected by a feature that isn’t doing its job.

iPhone users claimed that they were oversleeping and missing appointments or even turning up late for work as a result.
And it’s all down to the Alarm app.
The tech firm announced that it is working to fix the problem but people have still taken to social media to air their grievances.

One user posted an image of his iPhone and Apple Watch, complaining that he had set the alarm for 10.30am but instead it went off much later at 12.42pm.
Another user claimed that he had set himself a couple of reminder alarms in 15 minute increments but they had randomly gone off later at 11am.
A third person wrote: “"I thought I was losing my mind. These damn things either go off late, go off silently (despite every setting showing max volume for ringer, alarm, and otherwise), or the alarms TURN THEMSELVES OFF OVERNIGHT??

“On that last point, I thought maybe I turned it off overnight while half asleep the first time it happened and then forgot about [it]. The second, third, and fourth times I knew something was up.”
A fourth commented: “I use my iPhone alarm along with an alarm I got from Amazon. One morning it just didn’t go off and almost got fired.”
A similar issue occurred back in 2023 and Apple instructed users to go to their Settings app and click Face ID, followed by Passcode.
After typing in your passcode, the firm suggested making sure that Attention Aware was turned off.

This feature will lower the volume of some alerts if the device detects that you’re looking at the screen.
While Apple works to resolve the issue, there are alternatives to work around it.
If you have an Apple Watch or iPad, it might be worth using the alarm on that device to avoid the alarm being silenced.
It is hoped that a new update will put an end to the problem but, if all else fails, you can always go back to basics with a classic alarm clock.

That definitely won't need updating in order to work!
