The Apple announcements have caused excitement for iPhone users as iOS 18 will bring in new and cool features.
Perhaps the most innovative update is the introduction of Apple Intelligence, where the phone will essentially become a pocket AI.
With other new additions including call recording causing a stir on social media, another change is taking place for users of AirPods Pro.

With the headphones, new interactions with Siri will be available, which means you will now be able to shake your head 'yes' or 'no' to respond without having to use your voice.
The headphones will also be getting new Voice Isolation technology to isolate and enhance the sound quality and remove things like background noise including wind to make it easier for the listener to hear you on the other end of the call.
Apple promises to create a “seamless hands-free experience” with the update and people seem excited to try it out.

One fan of the new feature took to X to say: “The way Apple has made everything in iOS 18 is absolutely insane, I love what they’ve done with the AirPods Pro’s 2nd Gen, how you can nod your head down like your saying no to decline and no yes to answer a call, Siri and so much more that I’m excited to test out.”
Another happy customer added: “Honestly looking forward to this feature! While wearing AirPods Pro, nod your head yes or no to respond quietly to Siri.”
Meanwhile another impressed person commented: “Apple is literally defining the language of gestural computing with earbuds.”

Other features for the earphones will include Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking that will support games.
One of the first games to support the new feature on iOS is Need for Speed Mobile. This feature will work on third generation AirPods, AirPods Pro and AirPods Max.
The nodding feature is not the only exciting development for Siri as the virtual assistant is getting a full revamp.
With iOS 18, Siri will now be able to do so much more than before including things like moving a file between folders, edit a photo, summarize an article for you and open a particular news site on Apple News.

Initially, Siri will handle single natural language commands but later down the line, Apple will enhance it to process a series of multistep voice prompts.
The upgrades could completely change the way we use our phones, with more roll outs giving us something to look forward to in each iOS update.
