A big update is coming to your phones.
Less than two months after the release of iOS 18.1, Apple is rumoured to release iOS 18.2 in the next couple of days, bringing loads of new features.
The first version of Apple's AI only offered US English as an option but now those outside the US will now be able to select other English variants of Apple Intelligence.

So for instance, Brits will be able to select British English as an option.
While the tech giant hasn’t officially confirmed the release date, all signs point to it landing any moment now - potentially, even today (10 December)!
When it does, the new software will be available to owners of the iPhone 15 models or newer.
Owners of iPad Pro or iPad Air devices running on the M1 chip will also be able to enjoy Apple Intelligence and anyone who purchased the new iPad mini with the A17 Pro processor.

Rumours initially hinted at a December 9 release, thanks to a post from UK network EE.
They said: "We wanted to let you know that, from 9 December, you'll no longer be able to use your EE shared number service on MacBooks and iPads."
But it seems Apple may have shifted the timeline slightly.

Users can use Apple Intelligence to create Genmojis – AI-generated, custom emojis to use in apps as well as ChatGPT integration in Siri for the first time.
The Image Playground enables users to create their own pictures using AI and different art styles like sketches or animations.

To get your device ready for the iOS 18.2 update, make sure you’ve turned on automatic updates by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
iPad owners should do the same, as iPadOS 18.2 is expected to roll out at the same time.
