With the iOS 18 release around the corner, Apple fans are hyped for the wealth of features and upgrades to come.
Apple's upcoming product launch will be its new iPhone 16 series, running this latest operating system.

"We are thrilled to introduce iOS 18," said Craig Federighi, Apple's senior vice president of Software Engineering.
"It is a huge release with incredible features, including new levels of customisation and capability, a redesigned Photos app, and powerful ways to stay connected with Messages."
While developers and public testers have had access to the beta version of iOS 18 for a while, many iPhone users have avoided it due to potential bugs and vulnerabilities.

So, if you're using an iPhone X or older, it might be time to upgrade if you want to enjoy the new features of iOS 18.
This shouldn't come as a surprise as the US company usually drops support for older iPhone models each year.
Last year, the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X didn’t receive iOS 17, meaning users missed some free upgrades.
That said, whilst the iPhones on the list will be able to run iOS 18, they might not have access to Apple's new AI feature, Apple Intelligence. This system will offer enhanced Siri features and be deeply integrate with built-in functions and installed apps at the OS core.

Currently, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are eligible for this, and the upcoming iPhone 16 series will very likely be compatible as well.
We won't know the full details until the big reveal at the September 9 event.
